Post-Issue Drawing Control

Every change handled. Every issue checked.

Your team draws the pack once. From first issue to handover, Qynne runs every change after it, so your designers stay on the next scheme and site builds from the right drawing.

Office fit-out interior shown half as photograph, half as drawing

On a live fit-out the drawings keep moving after first issue. Clients change their minds, site raises queries and subcontractors need details revised. Each change pulls one of your best designers off new work to amend sheets, chase sign-off and reissue. When a change reaches the plan but not the elevation, or an old revision is still on site, the cost turns up later as rework.

Fit-out drawings side by side on an issued sheet

Qynne takes over the drawing changes once the pack has been issued. Whether your team drew the first pack or we did, we confirm each instruction in writing before we draw it, update every affected drawing, check the set before each issue and keep a record of who asked for what and who approved it. Design responsibility stays with your designer, and your design lead releases each issue.

Issued drawing sheet with revision clouds and revision table

How it works:

  1. Send us the change. Forward instructions from the client, site or design team as they arrive.
  2. We confirm it in writing. We read the change back to the person who asked for it. Nothing is drawn until it is approved.
  3. We update and check. We revise every affected drawing and check the set for consistency across plans, elevations, sections and schedules.
  4. Your design lead releases the issue. Issues can go out as often as daily, and urgent changes can be turned round the same day once approved.

What’s included:

  • Written read-back of every instruction before it is drawn
  • Revisions to plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules
  • A consistency check of the set before every issue
  • Revision clouds, title blocks and the drawing register kept up to date
  • An approval log of every instruction, approval and issue
  • The full record handed to you at the end of the project

We work with fit-out contractors, workplace design and build firms, commercial interior designers and shopfitters working in AutoCAD 2D.

Start with one live job. We set up the drawing register and approval log, your team signs off every issue, and you see the time it frees up before you decide on anything more.

Let’s build.

Send us one issued pack. We review it for mismatches across plans, elevations, sections and schedules and walk you through what we find. Then decide whether to hand us the changes. Email studio@qynne.com or use the CONTACT page to book a call.

Our checks look for consistency between drawings. They find a lot, not everything, and they are not a compliance check or a certificate.
